Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and marking hazards
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and layout
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Follow blueprints and instructions to ensure project specifications are met
- Maintain a clean, organized worksite and comply with OSHA standards
- Report safety concerns and maintain daily equipment logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Pass pre-employment drug and background screening
