Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with daily tasks.
- Operate basic heavy machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and trenching duties.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors and project managers.
- Conduct regular safety checks and report potential hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as project schedules require.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and OSHA compliance.
- Basic math skills for reading blueprints or measuring materials.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical stamina and a strong work ethic are essential.
