Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, and plumbers) with daily operational tasks.
- Operate basic construction equipment (forklifts, skid steers) safely once trained.
- Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols strictly.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting heavy objects, and mixing concrete.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor for long hours in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow verbal instructions.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required.
