Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Assist carpenters and masons with material transportation and tool management
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators) with proper certification
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Perform cleanup and debris removal to ensure project efficiency
- Read and interpret blueprints to support accurate construction execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or related field experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance policy for lateness
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and overtime as needed
