Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., shovels, saws, jackhammers)
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment following OSHA guidelines
- Load/unload construction materials and transport them to designated areas
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and demolition work
- Complete daily job site inspections and report hazards to supervisors
- Adhere to project timelines and collaborate effectively with team members
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – training provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Basic understanding of workplace safety protocols
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work independently as needed
