Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy construction equipment and hand tools safely.
- Load, unload, and prepare construction materials for daily use.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with on-site tasks.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and free of debris or hazards.
- Follow strict OSHA safety regulations and site-specific protocols.
- Perform physical labor, including digging, lifting, and hauling materials.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project plans.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus but not mandatory.
