Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assisting Trades: Support carpenters, electricians, and other skilled trades by carrying supplies and performing basic manual tasks.
- Tool Operation: Operate handheld power tools and basic construction machinery (e.g., pressure washers, generators) under supervision.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe job site by sweeping, removing trash, and ensuring work areas are organized at the end of the day.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for long periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Valid Driver's License: A current driver's license and a clean driving record are required for site transportation.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not mandatory.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of construction professionals.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and willing to work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
