Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and framing with precision
- Operate and maintain hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other skilled trades professionals daily
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Prepare and clean job sites before, during, and after work shifts
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation
- Report equipment issues and material shortages promptly to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor or related experience required
- Valid Georgia driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and methods
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with weekly pay accountability
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications as needed
