Responsibilities
- Operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and levels, with precision and safety.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks on-site.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to OSHA safety standards.
- Mix concrete, sand, and gravel to prepare for masonry work.
- Perform basic measurements and cut materials to specified dimensions.
- Perform general labor duties as directed by the Site Supervisor or Project Manager.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in general construction labor preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety equipment is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
