Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen in building structures, roads, and infrastructure
- Operate hand/power tools safely (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Follow OSHA safety protocols at all times
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Perform physical tasks including lifting (up to 50 lbs) and operating machinery
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Sacramento County
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic understanding of construction terminology
