Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including digging, mixing concrete, and carpentry support.
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) after proper certification.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform basic measurements, cuts, and site preparation as directed by the site supervisor.
- Handle waste removal and debris management efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with the crew to ensure project timelines are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills for measurements and material estimates.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime when needed.
- Experience with construction tools is a plus but not required.
