Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other skilled trades with project setup and cleanup
- Read and interpret construction plans and safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris and hazards
- Operate light machinery (e.g., saws, drills, compactors) under supervision
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company policies
- Complete daily timecards and report equipment issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
