Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Equipment Support: Operate hand and power tools safely under the supervision of foremen and crew leads.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a safe and organized work environment by cleaning up spills and debris regularly.
- Assistance: Provide general labor support for carpenters, electricians, and other skilled trades as required.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to various job sites.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Safety Conscious: Must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety protocols and wearing required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly with supervisors.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
