Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, tool operation, and basic installation tasks
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, concrete saws) with proper training
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute work accurately
- Complete daily progress reports and time tracking documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of commercial construction or general labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic hand tool proficiency (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with daily check-in requirements
