Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including concrete pouring, framing, demolition, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervisor guidance
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, masons, electricians) with material handling and setup
- Complete daily timesheets and equipment checklists accurately
- Participate in morning safety briefings and project planning sessions
- Adapt to changing project priorities and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of hands-on construction or labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Dallas metro area
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with daily reporting requirements
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, cold)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
