Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including debris removal, excavation support, and material staging
- Safely operate hand/power tools (hammers, saws, drills) and light machinery (concrete mixers, jackhammers)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment with proper lifting techniques
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and job site cleanliness
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) with layout, measurements, and installations
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions for precise task execution
- Complete daily timesheets and safety compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or general labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and tool operation
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
