Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings and residential properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NYC electrical codes and safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using advanced testing equipment
- Coordinate with contractors and clients to ensure project timelines are met
- Manage material inventory and equipment maintenance
- Complete detailed documentation of work performed
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 10 certification required
- Proficiency in conduit bending, wiring, and circuit troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Strong knowledge of NYC Electrical Code and NEC standards
