Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Vision: Lead the creation of a comprehensive technology strategy and roadmap for the year 2026, aligning technical capabilities with business objectives.
- Evaluate Emerging Tech: Identify, research, and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, Quantum, Next-Gen Compute) to determine viability for future deployment.
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Oversee research and development projects that pilot next-generation solutions, ensuring they meet strategic goals.
- Executive Collaboration: Collaborate with the C-suite and department heads to integrate long-term tech strategies into broader business planning.
- Resource Management: Manage the budget and resources allocated for future technology acquisition, talent acquisition, and infrastructure development.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical roadmaps into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders and investors.
Qualifications
- Strategic Leadership: 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, R&D management, or executive-level roles.
- Trend Forecasting: Proven track record of identifying and capitalizing on long-term technology trends with a specific focus on the 2026 timeframe.
- Tech Expertise: Deep understanding of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and advanced software architectures.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems in ambiguous environments.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences from engineers to investors.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
