Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Director of Future Technology Innovation to architect the roadmap for our operations leading up to 2026. At Apex Horizon Labs, we aren't just predicting the future; we are building it. You will be at the forefront of integrating advanced Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, and Human-Machine Interfaces into our core infrastructure.
This is not a standard IT management role. It is a strategic leadership position designed for a pioneer who can bridge the gap between today's technology and tomorrow's reality.
Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Vision: Lead the strategic development of the company’s technological roadmap, identifying emerging trends in AI, Robotics, and Data Science that will define the industry in 2026.
- Emerging Tech R&D: Oversee a dedicated research division focused on Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for next-generation technologies, ensuring feasibility and market alignment.
- Executive Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex technological strategies to the C-Suite and Board of Directors, translating technical jargon into high-level business value.
- Talent Acquisition Strategy: Build and mentor a high-performance team of futurists, data scientists, and engineers capable of executing long-term, high-risk projects.
- Operational Integration: Design and implement scalable infrastructure that supports our projected growth trajectory through 2026 and beyond.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in technology leadership, strategy, or R&D, with at least 5 years in a senior executive capacity.
- Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is highly preferred.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of defining long-term technological roadmaps (5+ year horizon) with measurable outcomes.
- Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and emerging tech stacks (e.g., Web3, Quantum computing basics).
- Innovation: Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of innovation and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
