Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with contractors and clients to project specifications
- Supervise junior electricians and apprentices when required
- Document work orders and maintain accurate project records
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
