Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for project execution
- Ensure strict compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Louisiana state regulations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery
- Perform safety inspections and implement OSHA-compliant protocols
- Mentor junior electricians and maintain accurate project documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana Electrician Journeyman or Master license required
- 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience in commercial/residential settings
- Proven expertise with conduit bending, wiring, and power distribution systems
- Deep knowledge of New Orleans building codes and permitting processes
- OSHA 10/30 certification and CPR/First Aid training preferred
- Ability to read complex technical diagrams and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
