Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations and repairs in residential and commercial settings, ensuring all work meets local building codes and safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan project execution effectively.
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify electrical faults and recommend solutions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical issues and provide accurate cost estimates.
- Utilize modern diagnostic tools and testing equipment to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License required (or valid equivalent certification).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local California codes.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Current forklift certification (preferred).
