Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and components
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using test equipment and hand tools
- Coordinate with contractors and clients for project completion
- Document work activities and maintain safety protocols
- Train apprentices on best practices and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 4 years of electrical installation experience
- Proficiency in reading technical diagrams and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and safety regulations
- Experience with both residential and commercial systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
