As an apprentice, you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training under the guidance of our certified Master Electricians. We provide a clear pathway to journeyman certification and long-term professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical wiring diagrams.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including stripping wire, pulling cable, mounting outlets, and installing light fixtures under supervision.
- Ensure all job sites are clean, organized, and adhere to OSHA safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of work performed and materials used.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
- Transport tools and equipment to and from job sites as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- No prior experience is required; we provide all necessary training.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, kneel, and work in various conditions (attics, crawl spaces, outdoors).
- Basic math skills for measuring distances and calculating loads.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work with hands for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
