Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare work sites by gathering necessary tools, materials, and equipment.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, conduit bending, and cable pulling under direct supervision.
- Inspect electrical components and identify potential hazards or defects.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Document daily work progress and report to the Foreman.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs.
- Strong willingness to learn and adhere to strict safety protocols.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- No prior experience required—just a great attitude and a strong work ethic.
