Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and testing of electrical components and circuits.
- Transport materials and tools to and from job sites as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Basic math skills (fractions, decimals) and ability to measure accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) frequently.
- A strong desire to learn the trade and a positive attitude towards safety protocols.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
