Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including carpentry, painting, and general cleanup.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in strict compliance with safety regulations.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform basic site preparation, demolition, and heavy lifting as directed by the foreman.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, materials, and safety practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, heat, cold).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred, but not strictly required).
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb stairs for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
