Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, terminate conduit, and strip wire according to NEC codes.
- Ensure all work sites are clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and maintain inventory.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Perform daily checks of tools and equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Willingness to learn and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
