Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment to ensure safety and compliance with local codes.
- Install and terminate conduit, wiring, and electrical components using hand and power tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for.
- Perform basic troubleshooting on electrical circuits to identify faults and implement solutions.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and work as part of a team.
- Willingness to obtain required state certifications and licenses upon employment.
