Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare and organize work areas, tools, and materials for daily tasks.
- Ensure all job sites are cleaned up and debris is disposed of according to safety regulations.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and blueprints to ensure quality workmanship.
- Learn to read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Perform routine inspections and tests on electrical equipment to ensure functionality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Willingness to learn and a strong desire to build a long-term career in the trades.
- Basic physical fitness; ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, and work in various environments (hot/cold).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
