Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical components to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations at all times.
- Prepare and organize job sites, including gathering materials and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Document work completed accurately, including time logs and material usage.
- Collaborate effectively with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely project delivery.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Basic understanding of math and reading comprehension is preferred.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb, bend, and work in various weather conditions.
- No prior experience is required, but a strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
