Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures.
- Perform daily site inspections to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues using multimeters, circuit testers, and blueprints.
- Prepare work areas by laying out materials, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained, cleaned, and stored properly after use.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers to ensure project timelines are met.
- Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; Apprenticeship opportunities available.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read basic blueprints or schematics.
- Strong desire to learn a trade and commitment to workplace safety.
