Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare and handle electrical materials, tools, and equipment in strict compliance with safety standards.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic drawings to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including outlet installation, switch replacement, and lighting fixture setup.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and free of hazards at the end of each shift.
- Document work completed accurately in daily logs and time sheets.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Physically capable of standing, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to obtain required state certifications and apprenticeship training.
