Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to understand project requirements.
- Install and connect wires, circuit breakers, outlets, and other electrical components according to code.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times.
- Document all work performed accurately and report any safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurement.
- Willingness to obtain a Journeyman Electrician license (we support apprenticeship programs).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
