Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and Interpret Blueprints: Utilize technical drawings to understand wiring layouts and specifications accurately.
- Tool Management: Maintain, clean, and organize tools and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and ensure workplace safety.
- Material Preparation: Prepare work areas, gather necessary materials, and perform basic troubleshooting tasks.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and coworkers, maintaining a high standard of service.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Equivalent educational background is required.
- Valid Driver's License: Must be able to drive to various job sites within the Minneapolis area.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfort with measurements and basic arithmetic for wiring calculations.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and a strong desire to grow within the electrical trade.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background screening process.
