Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with residential and commercial wiring projects.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Run conduit, fasten wires, and perform basic electrical testing.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and wiring diagrams under supervision.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on power tools.
- Ensure all work meets local building codes and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel within the NYC metro area.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and understanding of measurements.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a desire to learn a trade.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
