Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams under supervision.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including testing circuits and replacing outlets and fixtures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Transport tools and materials to job sites efficiently.
- Interact professionally with customers and other tradespeople.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; however, a strong desire to learn the electrical trade is essential.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to obtain required state licensure and certifications during employment.
