Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including pulling wire, stripping wire, and terminating outlets and switches.
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to understand project requirements.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Perform routine safety inspections and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Operate and maintain electrical tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress.
Qualifications
- No prior experience or licensure is required; we provide the training.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn and a commitment to safety.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude are a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Willingness to obtain required journeyman licensing within the first 2-3 years.
