Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare work sites by gathering necessary tools, materials, and equipment.
- Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams under supervision.
- Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and organizing tools and work areas.
- Ensure strict compliance with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Handle material transport and basic site preparation tasks.
- Develop proficiency in reading voltage meters and basic testing equipment.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required. We value attitude and eagerness to learn over experience.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory for this entry-level role.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between job sites.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical loads.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to obtain required certifications and apprenticeship training.
