Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior team members with residential and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Read and Interpret Blueprints: Study technical drawings and schematics to understand project requirements and layouts.
- Perform Basic Wiring: Help install electrical systems, outlets, lighting fixtures, and switch boxes according to code.
- Maintain Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep tools and work areas clean, organized, and in proper working condition.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, answering questions and maintaining a professional appearance on-site.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Math Skills: Basic proficiency in mathematics is helpful for measuring and calculating electrical loads.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn, a safety-conscious mindset, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Availability: Flexibility to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
