Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with construction tasks
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and light machinery
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and project specifications
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper waste disposal
- Complete daily progress reports and time tracking documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic understanding of construction materials and methods
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Valid Texas driver's license preferred
