Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior staff with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems.
- Material Handling: Transport, unload, and organize electrical materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and safety barriers before work begins.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Help diagnose electrical issues using multimeters and testing equipment under supervision.
- Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety regulations at all times.
- Documentation: Accurately complete time sheets and basic job reports for daily operations.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are willing to train the right candidate. A strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of measurements and math is a plus.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
