Responsibilities
- Assist master electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan work.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to strict OSHA safety protocols.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical equipment and wiring.
- Handle tools and materials with care, ensuring proper inventory management.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding project updates.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for reading measurements and calculating materials.
- Willingness to learn and obtain a state journeyman license after training.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.
