Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including running conduit, stripping wire, and connecting outlets.
- Ensure all job sites are clean, organized, and adhere to strict safety regulations.
- Test electrical systems to verify proper operation and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Document work completed and report progress to team leaders.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; however, a strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude are mandatory.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must possess a valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work at heights or in confined spaces.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
