Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support journeyman technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and residential settings.
- Read Technical Drawings: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan and execute electrical projects accurately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep tools, vehicles, and work areas clean, organized, and in excellent working condition.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
- Material Handling: Transport, handle, and store electrical materials and supplies safely.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Driver's License: A valid, clean driver’s license is mandatory for site travel.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Attitude: A strong desire to learn and a commitment to excellence in craftsmanship.
- Background: No felony convictions within the last 7 years (standard industry requirement).
