Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings during weekend shifts
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics to execute precise electrical layouts
- Diagnose complex electrical malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and NFPA electrical safety standards
- Coordinate with project managers to meet weekend deadlines and budget requirements
- Mentor junior technicians on advanced troubleshooting techniques
- Document all maintenance activities and system upgrades in digital logs
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent reciprocity)
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Proven expertise with 3-phase systems, motor controls, and VFDs
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure weekend environments
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility for occasional overnight emergency calls
