Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan project execution.
- Install conduit, wiring, and electrical components strictly according to local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, strictly adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Perform basic troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical faults and malfunctions.
- Prepare materials and tools for daily tasks and perform regular inventory checks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to obtain required electrical licensing and certifications upon hiring.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical loads.
