Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including wiring, conduit bending, fixture installation, and panel upgrades.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict accordance with OSHA safety standards.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to various job sites within Albuquerque and surrounding areas.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues under the direct supervision of senior staff.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, fractions) required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends for emergency repairs.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and a commitment to professional development.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
