Responsibilities
- Execute precise site preparation, excavation, and earthwork operations
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and compaction equipment
- Install and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper waste management protocols
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and construction specifications
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company quality control measures
- Collaborate with skilled trades including carpenters, electricians, and masons
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years verified construction labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency with hand tools and power equipment
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible schedule
