Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Learn to perform residential and commercial wiring tasks, including outlet and fixture installation, under expert supervision.
- Maintain Job Sites: Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards at all times.
- Read Blueprints: Interpret technical drawings and schematics to understand project requirements and layout.
- Perform Routine Maintenance: Inspect electrical systems and troubleshoot minor issues to ensure optimal functionality.
- Use Power Tools: Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently as directed by senior staff.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Attitude: Eager to learn, detail-oriented, and committed to safety.
- Background: No criminal record or history of drug use (pre-employment screening required).
